In December 2011, UW-Extension conducted an agricultural land rental survey in nine counties across western Wisconsin. Chippewa County UW-Extension participated and 622 surveys were sent to randomly selected landowners and farm operators based on the Chippewa County USDA Farm Service Agency mailing list.
