The 2016-2017 enrollment period will begin on September 6, 2016 and conclude on November 1, 2016 for returning members/families. New families are encouraged to enroll during this time as well; however, are welcome to enroll at anytime during the 4-H year.
New families are encouraged to select a club that best fits their family interests. Review the “Fun Starts Here” brochure for club contact and meeting information. Members can enroll in any club they desire. For instance, you do not need to live in the specific township of said club in order to belong to that club. You are encouraged to contact the club advisor to discuss your interests and ensure the club is the right fit for your family. Interested families are also encouraged to contact the Chippewa County 4-H Youth Development Agent for guidance or general questions.
Once enrolled, new families will be provided a mentor within their club and a welcome packet. Adults looking to help within their club will need to complete a Wisconsin 4-H Volunteer application and attend a volunteer leader training session with the 4-H Youth Development Agent. A background check is required for new volunteers and every four years thereafter.
