The Chippewa County Master Gardeners Annual Think Spring Seminar will be held on Saturday, February 18, 2017 from 8:00 a.m. – 3:30 p.m. at the Avalon Hotel & Conference Center located at 1009 W. Park Avenue, Chippewa Falls, WI 54729.
Registration is now open. Early-bird rates are $25.00 per person and will increase to $30.00 per person on February 8th. Get your registration in early to get the early-bird rate! Lunch is included to help round out a full day for all attendees.
The keynote speaker this year will be Jeff Epping, Director of Horticulture at Olbrich Botanical Gardens, who will provide two Keynote presentations to you about “Inspirations from English Gardens” and “Sustainable Gardens: Designs and Plants for Greener Gardens”. Jeff will also provide a breakout session on “Small Trees with Big Impact”.
Attendees will have the opportunity to choose between 6 other educational programs during the 3 different breakout sessions planned throughout the day. Speakers will include local Chippewa County Master Gardener Volunteers, UW-Extension educator and local garden/nursery owner. There is sure to be something for everyone!
Vendors will also be on-site for a fun filled garden themed shopping experience. There will even be door prizes!
