Pressure Canner Testing

The Chippewa County Cooperative Extension Office will be testing pressure canner gauges on the following dates and times:

March 6          9:00 a.m. – 12:00 p.m.

April 24           1:00 p.m. – 4:00 p.m.

May 22           9:00 a.m. – 12:00 p.m.

June 5            1:00 p.m. – 4:00 p.m.

For testing, all that needs to be brought into the Extension Office is the lid with dial gauges only. For further information concerning food safety and recommended canning and freezing procedures, contact the Extension Office at 715-726-7950.
